Description Dead Schorsch 2005-03-24 07:54:28 UTC
When downloading file from a web page, using href-links, firefox' download manager should pop up and start downloading. Instead, with version 1.0.2 an error window opens.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. click on a link addressing a downloadable item
2.
3.

Actual Results:
A window titled "Gecko" pops up with content:

-------------------------------------------
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: chrome://mozapps/content/downloads/downloads.xul
Line Number 1, Column 1:

}
^
---------------------------------------------

That's all, no download initiated.

Expected Results:
Start download of addressed resource, using firefox' download manager.

Comment 1 Dead Schorsch 2005-03-24 08:02:34 UTC
Correction: Firefox does actually download, looks like just the progress window is screwed.
Comment 2 Dead Schorsch 2005-03-24 10:38:43 UTC
After re-emerging, it works. Maybe some of the files to be installed where locked, because firefox was running.
