Mozilla-launcher cant open mozilla-firefox-1.0.2 because /usr/libexec/Mozilla-launcher looks in /usr/lib/Mozilla-firefox for firefox-bin. - but the new mozilla-firefox-1.0.2 is being installed in /lib/Mozilla-firefox. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. firefox 2. 3. Actual Results: /usr/libexec/mozilla-launcher cant find browser Expected Results: firefox started

Ian, it appears that you're using the amd64 2005.0 profile, but I don't see multilib in your USE flags. I don't believe this is a valid configuration. The README in the default-linux/amd64/2005.0 directory says: This profile has not yet been released, and as such we don't recommend using it on production systems. That being said, many users have been successfully upgrading to this profile to help us test, and if you want to help us in that process, please check out the following URL for full instructions: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/amd64/2005.0-upgrade-amd64.xml
