Description Lin Zhemin 2002-10-02 09:09:09 UTC
Hi.
Here is pydict-0.2.5.1.tgz with an ebuild and a ChangeLog.

pydict is a Chinese-English / English-Chinese dictionary written in py-gtk.
Just visit SourceForge and find it. :-)

Thanks.

Best regards,
Lin Zhemin

Hi, your ebuild has been cleaned up a bit and added to the CVS tree, please allow some time for your mirror to carry it and check it out please. Please report any problems here. Thanks!

Hi, just tested pydict and got the following error:
$ pydict
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/X11R6/bin/pydict", line 9, in ?
    from GDK import *
ImportError: No module named GDK

Whatever's missing here certainly wasn't picked up by emerge dependency check.
All the best & please ask if you would like any further info on this problem.
Comment 5 Marko Daniel 2002-12-24 01:55:31 UTC
Well, that was easy enough to solve: emerge gnome-python and pydict starts. (Add
dependency?) However, now I cannot get pydict to display Chinese characters...
