Created attachment 799381 [details] ebuild with SRC_URI update. media-fonts/vlgothic-20200720, the latest in the Portage tree, has a bug. [1][2] (Accroding to the cited links, it has an erroneous value of xAvgCharWidth in the OS/2 table.) I wonder if you could bump it. The upstream released a fix version, 20220612, as also detected by packages.gentoo.org. For example, Debian provides that update. [3] NB: The link [1] comment 2 says the fix is 20200720, but it's wrong. 20220612 is the correct one. According to the upstream developer, this doesn't affect normal uses in Linux / MacOS. However, Wine seems to be hit by this. I attached an ebuild, hoping the change in the SRC_URI line will help. All keywords are "~".
