See Bug #7993 for libXft1/2, xrender & fontconfig (Azarah's version of
fontconfig installs just that: fontconfig ;-)

And some others for gtk+2.1, happy bug-searching ;-)

One tip: resizing your mail-window makes mozilla crash totally...

Because its just that ... fontconfig.

Pango, QT, etc breaks with Xft-2.x, and thus will need a lot of work to
integrate.

I guess it could be possible to add Xft-2.0 static to the moz build, or add
a private copy, but I dont want to support it.  If it works for you (tm), fine
but I wont add it to portage, especially now with the freeze.

So, thanks, but DO NOT EXPECT IT IN PORTAGE real soon ... or from my side at
least.  I dont have the time to support it, and I KNOW there will be bug 
reports.

Well, so far I've tested gtk+ 2.1, qt + current patch and mozilla + current
gtk2/Xft2 patch and never been happier ;-D !
