short update to the latest version.
Only changes from the evms-1.1.0.ebuild:
- upped version
- changed SRC_URI to use mirror://

ive already commited this, before yuo submitted this even.

and why are you submitting an entire ebuild anyway when all you
apparently changed was a couple of lines? this is not really
helpful, im on top of things too, please.

please in the future if yuo would like to help faciliate quick
inclusion of updated packages; then attach a unified diff against
the most recent or appropriate file in portage, do not just
blindyly send off an entire ebuild, with one or two lines
changed.

this just created needless junk in the bugzilla queue.

thanks.

well, I don't know what you are doing ;-) I did an emerge rsync to check if it is already
there - No. I did a search on evms in bugzilla - no entry.
If you prefer diffs, next time I send a diff - no problem here. I just followed the published
docs on how to submit an ebuild.
Comment 4 Donny Davies (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-10-02 05:30:16 UTC
btw your submission said nothing about the fact that
the user-space tools no longer reference kernel
headers in /usr/src/linux, nor the fact that 1.1.0
kernel drivers should work fine with these utilties as well.
and you made no changes to this effect in your submission.

in short, im asking for just a little more substance
to your future submissions. yes, please use a patch,
its the courteous thing to do, thanks. i can see you
want to help, great.

all is not lost however, you've reminded me at least
about the mirror:// thing, i'll update to reflect that ;)
