Description seather 2005-03-22 22:21:33 UTC
When installing a new machine from stage 1, I had -ipv6 in my use flags from the beginning and my "PROTOCOLS" line in /etc/rc.conf set to "1 2". However, when ipv6 modules of the development-sources kernel is compiled and installed, they still get loaded up at boot, which shouldn't happen.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Comment 1 Henrik Brix Andersen 2005-10-23 08:01:48 UTC
baselayout is responsible for rc.conf...
Comment 2 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2005-10-24 06:45:56 UTC
PROTOCOLS isnt used anymore (not that it ever was)

no real info here though as to why the ipv6 modules are being autoloaded
Comment 3 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2005-10-24 06:47:05 UTC
so post some real info

- `emerge info`
- kernel config
- when are the modules loaded ?
- what modules are loaded ?
- what do your modules config files look like ?
