Just wanted to drop a note that mail-client/evolution-2.2.1.1 works for me. Well done!

ugly, this is the first time i see a bugzilla used to post "it works for me" - that should be the normal case or?

you can do me a favour if you read this one http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=73957

please tell me if this works well for you or not.

It's quite common for amd64, which I realise this isn't but thought it might be helpful. If it's not, let me know so I don't do it in the future :)

I don't have any accounts that require smtp authentication, so I don't think I can test this one out.

i'm sure you wanted to file a bug like the ones described here: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/amd64/technotes.xml?part=1&chap=3
Comment 4 FieldySnuts 2005-03-22 13:08:03 UTC
Actually no, I'm x86. I should have said *similar* to amd64 does. I guess this can be closed? Sounds like I'm causing more trouble than helping, which was not my intention.
Comment 5 Mike Gardiner (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-22 18:23:58 UTC
Basically, if you've tested out an application that wasn't previously keyworded ~amd64 (by editing the ebuild and adding the keywords yourself), and it works fine, then it's perfectly fine to post a "Please mark <application> ~amd64" bug, saying that you've keyworded and tested it and it works fine.

For applications that are allready keyworded, they'll get to stable when we deem them ready, so there's no need to post bugs on them.

Thanks.
