please execute following command and tell me results.

Comment 7 MATSUU Takuto (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-30 04:15:00 UTC
hmm, dar-2.2.1 and kdar-2.0.1 (also kdar-2.0.3) work fine on my env. I don't know how to fix it.
Comment 8 Chris Cartano 2005-03-30 10:12:12 UTC
I, too, have the same problem. It has been ocurring ever since the 2.x releases. I have tried unmerging both DAR and KDAR, but that doesn't help.
Comment 9 Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-04 03:12:00 UTC
Probably the dar library should have a "#include <locale>" statement in every header file that uses gettext.
If it works for someone, it is probably because the file with the definition of gettext() is included by something else, by I cannot say precisely why it happens.
Comment 10 MATSUU Takuto (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-28 17:08:33 UTC
Please send report to upstream.
Comment 11 Klaus Neumann 2005-05-13 16:29:40 UTC
The new dar version 2.2.2 seems to fix the problem. Everything works fine now for me.
Comment 12 MATSUU Takuto (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-05-13 17:24:42 UTC
2.2.2 in cvs.
