Hi All, I've just discovered a bug in the documentation regarding netbooting of Cobalt servers. It says to gzip up the CoLo ELF image, and place it on the server as 'vmlinux_raq-2800.gz'. It appears the RaQ1 looks elsewhere to download an image. At the moment I'm still trying to find out what the RaQ1 calls this image and how to go about producing a netboot environment for this special case. I haven't got a patch to apply yet -- but I hope to have something shortly. Watch this space :-) Regards, Stuart Longland
Hi All, One of the Debian users tried installing Linux on a RaQ1, and wasn't able to reproduce the symptoms. http://bugs.debian.org/287321 I'll put a patch up mentioning to use vmlinux.gz rather than vmlinux_raq-2800.gz shortly, however until we get some more users striking the same problem, I'll mark this as a task to resolve when we have more information. If anyone else strikes problems, feel free to re-open the bug.
