Between btop's feature, there is CPU temperature tracking, for it to work, lm-sensors package needs to be installed. It should be a dependency since this is one of btop's major features

I don't have lm-sensors installed on my machine and btop is still able to show my CPU temperature. Also, looking at the compilation instructions [0], lm-sensors is not part of the dependency list. The only appearance of the string “lm-sensors” in the README is in a configuration file comment recommending it to “see which cores are reporting temperatures”. Are you sure lm-sensors is required? Hey Adrian, I investigated and it's actually my fault. I got it wrong while debugging why btop wasn't working for me. Sorry for the inconvenience
