gonic is an open source, server only, lightweight implementation of subsonic (i.e. user needs a client like media-sound/strawberry or a phone app to be able to play music, web interface is for configuration only), written in go.

I've made it available for testing in my overlay (sinustrom) until this is merged into main portage tree.
