Description Brad Hoagland 2005-03-15 21:06:42 UTC
When I emerge imagemagick it fails to download the .tar.gz file.

No such file `ImageMagick-6.2.0-4.tar.gz'.

!!! Couldn't download ImageMagick-6.2.0-4.tar.gz. Aborting.

Users on the Gentoo Forums report that this particular version does not even exist on ImageMagick's mirrors anymore.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge imagemagick

Actual Results:
No such file `ImageMagick-6.2.0-4.tar.gz'.

!!! Couldn't download ImageMagick-6.2.0-4.tar.gz. Aborting.

Expected Results:
It should have downloaded and installed ImageMagick

The inability to emerge ImageMagick prevents the installation of several
applications that depend on it.

Use a different mirror. That file is on the gentoo mirrors.
