On this handbook site https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Handbook:AMD64/Installation/System in the 2 fstab examples, "vfat" is written "Vfat" which does not work in /etc/fstab as it must be vfat in lower case not sure if this is maybe also the case on other handbook languages or architectures. sorry, duplicate to https://bugs.gentoo.org/827815 but please fix it, it's just about correcting 2 letters *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 827815 ***
sorry for the chaos, this bug report is actually just about the 2 wrong upper case letters in "Vfat" and not really a duplicate to bug 827815, therefore I reopened it. It's nothing more than correcting the upper case spelling in those 2 /etc/fstab examples at https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Handbook:AMD64/Installation/System Vfat ==> vfat
Don't know if this is the best way to fix it, but I did... https://wiki.gentoo.org/index.php?title=Handbook:Parts/Installation/System&diff=1074224&oldid=1066382
