I have successfully compiled the kernel with usb-pwc-re linux-2.6.10-rc2_pwc-10.0.6.patch.bz2 under linux-2.6.11-ck2 and others, the pwc.ko module loads fine, attaches to device /dev/video0, and properly recognizes the camera make and model. This co-exists with ivtv, as I'm using a Hauppauge PVR350. The PVR350 is working fine, but when I attempt to control the webcam, I get the following errors: pwc set_video_mode(176x144 @ 10, palette 15). pwc decode_size = 1. pwc Using alternate setting 1. pwc isoc_init() submit_urb 0 failed with error -38 pwc isoc_init() submit_urb 1 failed with error -38 I have been so far unable to find any information as to what error -38 is, but I've noticed that I can change modes, etc on the camera, and that the led control seems to work, but when I try to capture anything, I get nothing.
