Created attachment 53393 [details, diff] index.xml patch for translating english to korean I couldn't see my index.xml file on the gentoo bugzilla web page. ( because of not available style sheet ) So I made a patch file. Please check it. - jinhyung@gmail.com - Korean Gentoo Documentation Team -
Looks like wrong assignment.
Thanks for your 1st contribution. Please don't send cross-language patches. You could not "see" your index.xml because its type was text/xml so the web server tells your browser it's some xml and your browser tries to process it as such but can't. It can be viewed by clicking on 'view source' or downloaded. Setting the type to text/plain makes it easier. Please note that the server sends a wrong default encoding (iso instead of utf-8) when you view attachments. BTW, haven't you forgottent to remove the following English bit? """ Our documentation is categorized and hierarchically navigable. If you want a quick overview of all available documentation without the additional information, please use our <uri link="list.xml">Documentation Listing</uri> page. """
I added metadoc.xml based on the English file with links to existing Korean translation set to /doc/ko/* and used the English list.xml and overview.xml Please have a look at /doc/ko/{index,list,overview}.xml Your next steps should be translate categories in metadoc.xml, the very short list.xml and overview.xml. A translation of inserts-en.xml would be nice to have. Thanks a lot for your contribution.
