I want to joint the rsync.ro.gentoo.org round-robin, the server ip is:

The name of the machine is rsync.romnet.org.
It should receive the name rsync3.ro.gentoo.org

I think comment #2 is also offering a distfiles mirror.  I don't see it on the
mirrors page yet, so it probably hasn't been added/instructions haven't been sent.

Not sure what the limit is, but it seems like a really slow mirror.  Also out of

it cannot update distfiles mirror more than once a day (lug.ro policy), hence is
pretty up to date given the constraints.

the rsync mirror is synced from rsync1.ro.g.o (my server) at every 30 minutes,
so it should as fresh as mine.

I guess it is slow only from outside Romania, because from my network works as
expected (4-5 Mbytes/s).

I have added you into the rsync.ro.gentoo.org rotation as rsync3.ro.gentoo.org.
Please begin syncing against rsync1.us.gentoo.org from about 30 minutes from
this email when our access control updates.

As for the ftp, it is about 4 days old. Please get that syncing again and I can
add you to our list.

ftp.romnet.org is also a distfiles mirror. please give him access to the
distfiles master too.

I know currently is pretty outdated but this is only because ftp.lug.ro (his
current master mirror from which downloads the updates on a daily basis) is down
at the moment.

The syncing was made , ~24 hours have pased since the update is beeing made 
after rsync1.us.gentoo.org .

Please give me access to the distfiles master because for the moment ftp.lug.ro 
is down and my server is outdated . Also i want the server to be added in the 
official mirror-list with description 'Romanian Network Organization' .

Mikhai,

You are already in our rsync.ro.gentoo.org rotation as rsync3.ro.gentoo.org. You
should be able to point your mirror at our private rsync master
rsync1.us.gentoo.org.

As for the distfiles mirror, I have added you into our listing as you
asked.Thanks for helping out Gentoo. I have added your mirror to our list at
http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/mirrors.xml. Please start synching from
masterdistfiles.gentoo.org as the email I have sent to you instructs. We would
like you to subscribe to the gentoo-mirrors Mailing List by sending an email to
