Bug 85011 – No launcher in drawer on gnome-panel-2.10.0

I'm just passed to gnome-panel-2.10.0 from gnome-panel-2.8.3. When I start my X session and gnome panel start I've no error message but if I try to open a drawer it is empty(no icons, no launcher).. 
Instead if I try to move my panel on the other sides of the screen with the drawer men

Same behaviour here, but it only happens when I select a colour as a background for the drawer, i.e. drawers work fine with no background or an image background.

They fix it in 2.10.1, which has been out for a while now.

Still waiting for that to come to portage...

An ebuild for gnome-panel-2.10.2 is now in the tree. Could you confirm if that
version fixes this problem?
