Description Aaron Carlisle 2005-03-12 10:31:44 UTC
latexsuite for vim (app-vim/latexsuite-1.5) seems to work fine for ppc-macos. Working package notification as per http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/macos-guide.xml

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

!!! Relying on the shell to locate gcc, this may break
!!! DISTCC, installing gcc-config and setting your current gcc
!!! profile will fix this

Hrm. Do the docs work? I'm really not a big fan of having a provided vim on osx, since its tags support is really really broken...
Comment 2 Aaron Carlisle 2005-03-12 11:54:40 UTC
You're right. The tags in the docs don't work out of the box. I ran ":helptags /usr/share/vim/vim62/doc", then all the docs were fine, as far as I can tell.

Thanks for the heads up.
Comment 3 Hasan Khalil (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-12 12:00:09 UTC
Ciaranm: is this fixable using a vim script that we could possibly put in baselayout (or the macos vim-core or summat)? I've noticed that tags don't work as well.
Comment 4 Ciaran McCreesh 2005-03-12 12:02:26 UTC
The only way this can be fixed properly is to get a sane vim installed.

latexsuite is keyworded ~ppc-macos as of today.
