Description Josh Glover 2005-03-11 15:01:17 UTC
: jmglov@jglover; emerge -vp dev-util/kcachegrind

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild N ] dev-util/kcachegrind-0.4.1 -arts -debug -kdeenablefinal +xinerama 0 kB
: jmglov@jglover; sudo emerge dev-util/kcachegrind

[...]

configure: error: The important program mcopidl was not found!
Please check whether you installed aRts correctly.

Looks like there is no way to disable arts using a ./configure flag, so maybe arts should just be added to the DEPEND line.
Comment 2 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-11 16:38:33 UTC
I don't know where you have this old ebuilds from, but kcachegrind is part of kdesdk and dev-util/kcachegrind removed from the gentoo.org portage tree.
