tcpreplay-2.3.3 has libpcapnav as optional DEPEND as tcpdump (its currently DEPEND but not optional), libpcapnav isnt in portage thats why im attaching its ebuild too :) ( it could be in net-libs/ ) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Created attachment 53204 [details] libpcapnav-0.5.ebuild
Created attachment 53205 [details] tcpreplay-2.3.3-r1.ebuild
soulse, wrt to the tcpreplay ebuild, *please* don't remove keywords from KEYWORDS. Luckily I caught it, because I really don't feel like getting chewed out by arch devs :) wrt to libpcapnav, it is now in portage. I must get someone from amd64 to mark it ~amd64 before tcpreplay can depend on it. Also, regarding the ebuild, I know I've told you before, don't use einstall unless it's necessary. make DESTDIR="${D}" install is the preferred method and works fine in this case w/o access violations.
soulse, also found out that even though tcpreplay's INSTALL file says tcpdump is optional (and configure supports a --with-tcpdump flag which you forgot to add :p), it is not. The build fails w/o it. More than likely it really is optional, but just broken. So for the time being, I'm leaving it as a non-conditional dep. If you want to try and fix it, feel free (and open another bug).
2.3.3-r1 is in cvs. Thanks soulse.
