Have you read, and do you agree to, the GURU project Rules and Regulations[1]? We are also going to need your real/legal name. [1] https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:GURU#The_regulations
I usually don't like to use my real name easily on the Internet, it's part of privacy, and the Internet environment is far more chaotic than the real environment, if you have to use it, please let me know, I will use chunhui ouyang I am Chinese, so my real name is: chunhui ouyang I declare that I have read and agree, I don't think this regulation has any meaning of rejection, it is very normal, and it is limited to the development community, but I only submit relevant contributions in my spare time when it is necessary. Please tell me what name I should use to log in at the end so I can confuse my real name with my screen name

(In reply to jack9603301 from comment #2) > Please tell me what name I should use to log in at the end so I can confuse > my real name with my screen name You have to use your real name in Signed-off-by line of every commit. If you can't do that, I'm afraid you can't contribute.

I don't know what you mean. Every commit from you needs to include: Signed-off-by: Your Real Name <email@address> at the very end.
(In reply to Michał Górny from comment #6) > I don't know what you mean. > > Every commit from you needs to include: > > Signed-off-by: Your Real Name <email@address> > > at the very end. Does GPG certificate require real name?
> Does GPG certificate require real name? No, it doesn't. Just to be clear, are you aware that people will be able to trace it back to your real name with some effort?
(In reply to Michał Górny from comment #8) > > Does GPG certificate require real name? > > No, it doesn't. > > Just to be clear, are you aware that people will be able to trace it back to > your real name with some effort? Eh, I don't know what you mean, if you mean I have to mark my real name in my commits, I agree. I am Chinese, so my real name is: chunhui ouyang
Ok, I've added you. Please remember to configure your name for git signoff.

(In reply to Michał Górny from comment #10) > Ok, I've added you. Please remember to configure your name for git signoff. Strange, why is it still rejected when trying to upload the gpg key? https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:Infrastructure/Generating_GLEP_63_based_OpenPGP_keys#Split_key
Key upload is for devs only. GURU PGP keys aren't verified.
(In reply to Michał Górny from comment #13) > Key upload is for devs only. GURU PGP keys aren't verified. Well, what should I do if I need to make some contributions?

We don't require signed commits (or pushes) from GURU contributors right now.
