thought this's not a bug of nautilus, i think some guys would like this patch.  
so i recommend the nautilus ebuild include this patch, we share this feature with all people.:)

this is already in the gnome bugzilla,  http://bugs.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=169942

after speaking with foser, we will be adding this as a patch.  It should be added within the next day or two.
