MediaWiki has a translation review feature [0], but it is not used on the Gentoo Wiki AFAICT. This feature allows translators to review other people's translations which would help fix mistakes or typos in the translations. I believe it would increase the translations quality if we used this feature. The feature seems to already be activated in the Gentoo Wiki since I can open the translation review backlog page e.g. [1] for french, but I cannot actually mark any blocks are reviewed. From what I can tell, no one has the access to review translations [2] : no one has the "translation reviewers" group. Is there any reason this feature is not used, and if not, could we create a page similar to the translation access request page [3] but for reviewers? Seems like more of a wiki issue than docs?
The feature described is basically a thumbs up or thumbs down of a particular translation. This should be active for any confirmed user on the wiki.
