It seems I had a problem with nvidia driver and I was surprised that gdm.service was restarting forever without limit (also preventing me from login into the consoles :S) I though that maybe StartLimitBurst should be used in its unit file... but then wondered if maybe systems was having a default value for this to "protect" against random services restarting forever if they don't specify the limit in their unit files.
