did an emerge -e gnome, still not working.
What version of gnome-vfs are you using? What version of nautilus? Also, if possible, please provide a backtrace from the process that encounters a segmentation fault.
Closing due to lack of information and newer versions released that don't seem to have any problem. Brian, if you are still experiencing a problem, feel free to reopen the bug.
I never did figure out what was causing this.... eventually i rebuilt the machine anyway (new hardware, figured what-the-heck).
