Description Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2002-09-27 09:37:51 UTC
In the Mozilla-ebuild the LICENSE-Var is:
MPL-1.1 | NPL-1.1

I think this is wrong, because only parts of mozilla are MPL and other Parts are
NPL. So if you want the whole mozilla, you have to agree to both mpl and npl.
So it should be
MPL-1.1 NPL-1.1

the way the LICENSE variable works is we just list the licenses which can be
found in the package

its not that we're saying 'this one or this one' ...
the | is there just to separate the licenses, but you are correct in that | is
not supposed to be there ... its supposed to be space delimited

i'm going through all the ebuilds fixing this ... it just takes time ;)

Well, I talked with seemant and he said that the | separator should be used if
the program is either one or the other license. This is not the case with mozilla.
