Description Sarah Gardner 2005-03-08 14:11:53 UTC
If USE is set to include GPM support, and you emerge aspell, it does not list sys-libs/gpm as a dependency, ./configure then fails as it is unable to find libgpm

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Both aspell-0.50.5-r4 and aspell-0.60.2 have this:

DEPEND=">=sys-libs/ncurses-5.2
gpm? ( sys-libs/gpm )"

I've just emerge aspell-0.60.2 fine with gpm in my use flag.

Which version are you trying to emerge?

You're right.
The people one the gentoo forums told me to submit a bug report after the config.log said libgpm wasn't there, but it would seem the problem lies elsewhere on my system.

Sorry.

Ok no problem.
