gentoo users can greatly benefit from ebuild with savedconfig. Eliminating need to manually manage source of slstatus

i'm the maintainer at suckless.org as well as the main author. just tuning in to say, that a 1.0 release is in preparation, which will ease packaging.

Any update on this? Would be wonderful to have this in portage and not having to manage it manually.
