The attached ebuild seems to work fine for the newly released pygtk-2.6.0. I added a 'numeric' USE, since pygtk configure looks for it:
   checking for Numeric/arrayobject.h... yes
I figured it was useful to alert the user that they could gain additional functionality if they emerge numeric separately or allow it to be included as a dependency. Feel free to remove this if it goes against USE policy.

i'll just add this as a dep rather than a optional dependency.
