Description Alan Jackson 2005-03-06 13:58:25 UTC
No error messages, but an immediate exit if I click on a message with a PGP signature. I backed up to 1.0.0 and that fixed it.
I did see a note in the Sylpheed e-mail list noting :
> Not likely to happen every day: when the default key in gpg.conf has
> expired, the sending of a(n attempted) gpg signed message causes Sylpheed to
> segfault.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. start up sylpheed 1.0.1
2. click on a PGP signed message
3. crash...

Actual Results:
[5]+ Segmentation fault sylpheed (wd: ~/Mail/Linux/Sylpheed)

Comment 1 rob holland (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-15 14:19:35 UTC
is your pgp key expired?
Comment 2 Alan Jackson 2005-03-21 17:32:09 UTC
I don't think I have a PGP key. Never felt the need...
Comment 3 Alan Jackson 2005-03-27 18:23:46 UTC
I emerged 1.0.3 and that did not fix the problem. And then I discovered I could no longer back up to 1.0.0. But I did find a workaround - I deleted my .gnupg directory, and now it doesn't segfault.

This is not a sylpheed's bug.
