After i clean up canceled downloads from the firefox downlaod manager, the window title still says something like "29% of 4 files", even though there is just one file left downloading. I use mozilla-firefox-1.0.1. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start multiple downloads. 2. Cancel some of them an remove them from download list.
this is not a gentoo-related bug, it's a firefox bug. i think you have to send it to the firefox team.
Most likely a known issue, but if not open a bug report at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/, please.
From http://bugs.gentoo.org/whatisthis.html: "Please note that bugs should be posted here first before moving upstream. In other words, don't bother the original package maintainers before you bother us. Our development team will move the necessary bugs upstream if needed." Guess you overestimated your willingness to forward bugs when you guys wrote that.
Yes, the bug is known. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=245829 I'll check mozilla's bugzilla first next time.
> Guess you overestimated your willingness to forward bugs when you guys wrote that. The point is not to bother other projects with Gentoo issues. They'll get upset and this can't be our goal. If it's apparent, that a problem isn't related to Gentoo and it's not a security issue, there is no reason to file a bug here. We simply cannot forward all bugs, but we check when you are not sure if it's a Gentoo or upstream issue. >Our development team will move the necessary bugs upstream if needed." "necessary" is the keyword here. We care for critical/security bugs, not such a minor problem.
