Hi, nautils kept saying that my .iso files were application/x-arc. I found out it was due to theese two bugs: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1506 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1507 I made two patch files containing: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=1404 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=989 And changed the shared-mime-info-0.15.ebuild file to contain epatch ${FILESDIR}/${P}-FIX_BUG_1506.patch epatch ${FILESDIR}/${P}-FIX_BUG_1507.patch Then i re-emerged, and it works perfectly. I can now burn cd's on my AMD64 box as well. The bugs have been correted in CVS, but a new release has not yet come out, so maybe you could create a 0.15-r1 ebuild, for immediate fix. 0.15 were actually hard masked by foser according to this profile: # <foser@gentoo.org> (13 Oct 2004) # 2 masks to make gnome 2.8 behave >=media-sound/esound-0.2.35 >=x11-misc/shared-mime-info-0.15 But, it seems that 2.8 works on AMD64 even though. Kind regards, Johan.

These fixes should be applied to 0.14 & rev bumped. 0.15 should not be unmasked until gnome 2.10 hits the tree (altough a rev bump could be in order anyway).
bumped shared-mime-info to 0.16
