Description Bjoern Koch 2005-03-03 21:33:58 UTC
Hi there!

Please find attached desklet-worldtime-0.9.1.ebuild.

WorldTime is a set of gDesklet-Displays that displays from 1 to 6 digital clocks on your screen. The thin display just shows location name and time. The full display also shows the day and has a much coller looking layout, but it's a little thicker. if for some reason you don't have the font Utopia, I recommend getting it, it just doesn't look the same with out it (but that's just personal preference =D)

Contains much better code, and more configurabiliy, but only works with gDesklets 0.34

WorldTime is a successor to WorldClock, so it replaces Bug 81167.

I suggest x11-plugins/desklet-worldclock (like the other gdesklets).

Bjoern

Just tested this.

Works fine for me. Thanks.

Any chance it can be released into the main ebuild tree?

Not until it uses the eclass. Looks like it is popular enough to put in the tree, so I'll consider it if Bjoern (or somebody) rewrites it to do so. Shouldn't be too tricky, but I don't have the time to do so right now.

desklet-worldtime-0.9.2.ebuild using the gdesklets eclass

OK OK... try this one :).
Uses the gdesklets eclass and works here fine.

This ebuild might need some lovin', but I'd be willing to put it in the tree if someone can help out.
