The sample config given in this document sets "path=/space/gentoo/rsync" for gentoo-x86-portage and "path=/gentoo/rsync" for gentoo-portage, but directly below that the doc says:

> Above, the gentoo-x86-portage mirror points to the same data as gentoo-portage.
