Description Frank Aune 2002-09-25 22:14:02 UTC
The procps ebuild fails with an access violation trying to unlink files in
/var/catman/* and /var/man/*

As a workaround, i exported SANDBOX_DISABLED=1 and emerged the package. Then
setting SANDBOX_DISABLED=0 again.

BTW, I tried with different CFLAGS to no avail. I even tried disabling the
CFLAGS in /etc/make.conf completely, and reverting back to system default in
/etc/make.globals

So this is an ebuild issue I think

I can confirm this.. and the workaround also works. :)

it's something that's patched in the -r5 version of the ebuild.
/var/catman/cat1/ps.1.gz is to be removed. maybe that patch should've made it's
way into -r6? i edited my ebuild file locally to remove that line from the
Makefile in the ps subdirectory with grep -v (crude, but effective).
