I had a line in my config with just a space, and tenshi was not loading because it detected that as an error.

I'm nto certain, but couldn't tenshi parse those lines out as empty lines pretty easily?  In the very least, tenshi's config file parser needs to mention line numbers, in this case it was very hard to find the offending line since there wasn't any clear output.

fixed in new release which is in cvs. thanks :)
