Thanks for reporting. I cannot reproduce this, so I will need you to tell me more about your system.

What architecture are you using? What profile? What "USE" flags? Please paste the output of "emerge info" in this bug report so I can get this information.

Also, are you able to reinstall version 18.44 (or to install any version other than 18.45), or does that also fail? Is EMBOSS installed on your system? If so, are you able to execute the "prosextract" program on the command line?

I just noticed a potential bug in the ebuild. It might have caused your problem if EMBOSS is not installed on your system. Please sync your Portage tree in an hour or so and try to install PROSITE again.
