xmms-1.2.10-r13 hangs when moving its windows with the "show window manager decorations" option enabled on amd64 using ALSA output and MAD input. The problem does not occur using xmms-1.2.10-r5, and downgrading fixed the problem. This can be reproduced in fluxbox 0.9.11 and twm. The problem does not occur when the window manager decorations option is not enabled. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start xmms, open the playlist window 2. Go to preferences/options and click the "Show Window Manager Decorations" checkbox. 3. Start playing an mp3. 4. Click the window's title bar and drag it to another place on the desktop, holding it for several seconds. Actual Results: Playback of music stops and XMMS ceases responding to input. media-sound/xmms-1.2.10-r13 (-3dnow) +alsa -arts -debug -directfb -esd +flac -jack -lirc +mad +mikmod (-mmx) +mp3 +nls +oggvorbis -oss -sndfile 0 kB media-sound/xmms-1.2.10-r5 (-3dnow) +alsa -cjk -debug -directfb -esd -ipv6 +mikmod (-mmx) +nls +oggvorbis +opengl -oss -xml 0 kB Portage 2.0.51-r15 (default-linux/amd64/2004.3, gcc-3.4.3, glibc-2.3.4.20041102- r0, 2.6.10-gentoo-r6 x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.10-gentoo-r6 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+ Gentoo Base System version 1.4.16 Python: dev-lang/python-2.3.4-r1 [2.3.4 (#1, Feb 7 2005, 18:44:00) ] dev-lang/python: 2.3.4-r1 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r6 sys-devel/automake: 1.5, 1.8.5-r3, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.4_p6, 1.9.4 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.92.0.2-r1 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.10-r4 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.8.1-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-O2 -march=k8 -pipe" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.2/share/config /usr/kde/ 3.3/env /usr/kde/3.3/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm/config/ /usr/share/t exmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/pla tex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -march=k8 -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs autoconfig ccache distlocks sandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://mirror.tucdemonic.org/gentoo/ http://gentoo.osuosl.org/ f tp://ftp.ucsb.edu/pub/mirrors/linux/gentoo/ http://gentoo.chem.wisc.edu/gentoo/" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="amd64 X acpi alsa audiofile berkdb bitmap-fonts cddb cdr crypt cups curl do c dvd dvdr f77 fam flac font-server foomaticdb fortran gdbm gif gpm gtk imlib ja va joystick jp2 jpeg junit libwww lzw lzw-tiff mad mikmod motif multilib ncurses nls oggvorbis opengl pam pdflib perl plotutils png ppds python qt readline sdl slang ssl tcltk tcpd tetex tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts usb userloca les xml2 xmms xpm xrandr xv zlib" Unset: ASFLAGS, CBUILD, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS
