hi, emerge xpdf does not produces /usr/bin/xpdf binary. Same problem as in bug #72284 http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72284 but with xorg-x11-6.8.2. I tried with openmotif-2.2.3-r2 and openmotif-2.1.30-r8 I have "motif" in my USE flags. Should bug #72284 be re-opened ? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.emerge xpdf 2. 3. Actual Results: configure: WARNING: Couldn't find X / Motif -- you will be able to compile pdftops, pdftotext, pdfinfo, pdffonts, pdftoppm, and pdfimages, but not xpdf Expected Results: produce a /usr/bin/xpdf Portage 2.0.51-r15 (default-linux/amd64/2004.3, gcc-3.4.3, glibc-2.3.4.20050125-r0, 2.6.10-gentoo-r7 x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.10-gentoo-r7 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+ Gentoo Base System version 1.6.9 Python: dev-lang/python-2.3.5 [2.3.5 (#1, Feb 21 2005, 09:17:57)] dev-lang/python: 2.3.5 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r6 sys-devel/automake: 1.7.9-r1, 1.5, 1.4_p6, 1.8.5-r3, 1.6.3, 1.9.4 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.92.0.2-r4 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.10-r5 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.8.1-r3 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64 ~amd64" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-march=k8 -O2 -pipe" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/env /usr/kde/3.3/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/lib/mozilla/defaults/pref /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm/config/ /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/platex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=k8 -O2 -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs autoconfig candy ccache distlocks sandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="ftp://ftp.proxad.net/mirrors/ftp.gentoo.org/ http://mirror.switch.ch/ftp/mirror/gentoo/ ftp://mirror.switch.ch/ftp/mirror/gentoo/" LANG="fr_FR.utf8" LC_ALL="fr_FR.utf8" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="amd64 X aalib acpi alsa apache2 avi berkdb bitmap-fonts bonobo cdr chroot crypt curl dba divx4linux dvd dvdr dvdread esd f77 fam flac font-server fortran gd gdbm gif gnome gstreamer gtk gtk2 gtkhtml guile hal imagemagick imlib ipv6 jabber java jp2 jpeg junit libwww lzw lzw-tiff mad matroska mikmod motif mozilla mp3 mpeg msn multilib mysql ncurses nls nowin nptl nptlonly nvidia oggvorbis opengl oss pam perl php png python readline ruby sdl slang spell ssl svg tcltk tcpd tetex tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts unicode usb userlocales wmf xine xml xml2 xmms xpm xrandr xv xvid zlib" Unset: ASFLAGS, CBUILD, CTARGET, LDFLAGS
