There is a bad path to "php":
/usr/local/bin/php
instead of
/usr/bin/php

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. pprofp -h
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
error message about wrong path to interpreter

Expected Results:  
works? :)

dev-php/PECL-apd-1.0.1-r1 is in portage now and has a patch to correct the location of the PHP interpreter.
