I don't receive any Email notification about replies. Email notifications about PMs I receive but email notifications about forum thread replies I don't receive since 2021-01-10 when I received the last email like this. We'll post there then after you have watched it, and we'll see if it works or not. Note that you need to re-visit topics after a notification to be able to receive another notification.

We can see a mail leaving towards your general direction at the time of the following post: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-8695942.html#8695942 Well, about one second later. At least in theory, if you didn't receive a different notification at that time, this should mean that there's nothing going wrong in our end. I also see the 'undisclosed recipients' in some of the notification mails; some even have it empty ('x-original-to' is still there though). I don't know why that is, but it seems to have been so for years, if not always, and if we ever get to phpBB-3, this might change. Perhaps it has something to do with how the mass-notifications are sent, because for private messages it looks like this might always contain your e-mail (I'm not entirely sure at this time). I could imagine this being why you get the ones for PMs but not for topics, meaning this field is indeed somehow responsible for them not arriving to you. I'll close this for now since there doesn't seem to be anything we can do here, but we can always re-open if we (or you) find anything new to work with. Thanks!
Looking a bit deeper with the infra team, we do see 'bounce or trace service failure' for some of the messages, so indeed while they leave our servers, they're not quite getting through. Still seems like things are working as they should on our end.
Finally solved after I changed my mail address.
