Hi!

Please find attached ike-scan-1.7.ebuild

ike-scan is an IPSec VPN server discovery and fingerprinting tool. It can scan your network of IKE servers in either Main mode or Aggressive mode and can specify custom transforms and other IKE options.

Also included is psk-crack, a fast dictionary and brute force password cracker for IKE pre-shared keys.

I suggest net-analyzer/ike-scan

Tom

ike-scan-1.7-r1.ebuild

Hi,

I fixed some errors and unecessary operations in the ebuild and added the
openssl support that speeds up the psk-crack tool by using the openssl's SHA1
and MD5 algorithm.
I've masked the package also.

HTH,
Michael
Comment 3 Tomas Doran 2005-03-30 15:21:31 UTC
Cheers for that :D

That was my first ebuild and I knew it needed tidying & the openssl stuff adding.

ike-scan is known to compile on many architectures - do you think it's worth adding some other archs (like sparc and ppc) that it's also known to compile and run on as masked?
Comment 4 Michael Zanetta 2005-03-30 15:38:15 UTC
NP my first one was way worse than yours... ;-)

Well, as I don't have the arch for testing I think it's better to let the developers test it and then change the ebuild.

Anyway thanks to mention it!

Cheers,

Michael

Added - thanks Tomas - that was pretty good for a first ebuild
