Description Alfredo Navarro 2002-09-25 01:34:18 UTC
Yesterday at night I left emerge installing openoffice and some
others things and when I came back I realised that my / was fulled.
Then I erased some things to get some free space, but I do wrong
and delted /usr/portage tree thus I had to decompress a new portage
tree over the old and empty /usr/portage. I decided then to do
an emerge -u system and now all seems to be correct but the below
problem related to emerge when I do emerge -s gcc I get this error:

Searching... -portage: aux_get(): error processing DEPEND for
dev-util/colorgcc-1.3.2-r1; exiting.

I tried to found out about this error but without any result.
Thanks in advance

Thank you very much Nicholas for your help.
Your guidelines fixed the problem ok so I
commit now a resolve bug. I don't know exactly
if it's what I have to do now, I haven't to
much experience reporting bugs, Let me know
if I do wrong.

Best regards.

if this is a known problem i assume its being handled by the portage guys ...
but should we leave the bug open till a fix is implemented in portage itself ?
