Description David Seifert gentoo-dev 2022-02-14 21:32:25 UTC
Since our wiki team (thanks maffblaster!) implemented an upgrade to our Developer template, our Wiki supports a "Package maintainer" field that links to p.g.o page of a developer if they have commit access. This summarizes the packages they maintain and all the associated metadata.

As a matter of user accessibility and consistency, I would like to request the council to make this field mandatory for all developers with commit access. This mirrors the data available on https://www.gentoo.org/inside-gentoo/developers/. This also avoids the need for non-standard custom links to e.g. p.g.o or manually listing packages on their user page.

Yes.

(Could've been done via regular schedule instead of a bug, otoh this matter is so trivial and obvious that it doesnt require much discussion.)

yes
Comment 8 Marek Szuba (RETIRED) archtester gentoo-dev 2022-02-18 00:48:47 UTC
Yes.

(kind of odd doing this by Bugzilla but as dilfridge has already pointed out, it's trivial enough not to bother more)
