checking ESD_LIBS... -lesd -laudiofile -lm
checking for ogg >= 1.0 vorbis >= 1.0 vorbisfile >= 1.0... Package ogg was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `ogg.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'ogg' found
configure: error: Cannot find libogg/libvorbis

Please tell the nice friendly sound people about your media-libs/libvorbis.
Comment 2 Tony Vroon (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-28 11:11:35 UTC
Could you try a revdep-rebuild?
The libvorbis dependency in beep-media-player should drag libogg in as well, seeing that libogg is an RDEPEND of libvorbis.
