Description VinnieNZ 2005-02-24 15:20:14 UTC
If I try to emerge drupal I get lots of errors with files having different MD5 sums and sizes. Seems to occur on all download mirrors, including directly from the drupal.org site. Also noticed that the MD5's are different on some mirrors from the drupal.org site.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge drupal -f
2.
3.

Actual Results:

!!! Fetch for /usr/portage/www-apps/drupal/drupal-4.5.2.ebuild failed, continuing...

!!! Some fetch errors were encountered. Please see above for details.

This occurs for many files, even when the MD5 and file size is corrected.

Expected Results:
Drupal should emerge fetch cleanly without producing MD5 and size errors.

Hmmm.... Upstream changes the files every once in a while without changing the version numbers... Can you delete the digest file and try emerging again?

I ask again...Are we sure of the integrity of the files on drupal.org? The files it's handing out haven't matched our digests for several weeks now, and now you're saying that the files "keep changing"?

Hi,
Just got back from some work. I think I may have fixed it this time.
