I have written an ebuild for HaXml 1.12.
It's a bit rough around the edges and only installs the package to GHC, ignoring nhc and hugs.
Still, it does the job :)

fptools cvs version at

fptools/libraries/HaXml

is already Cabalized. Either we wait for an updated release or
we backport the .cabal file. The latter shouldn't be very difficult,
because apparently not much else has changed in the CVS during the
last months ...

I think this can be closed, because HaXml-1.12 is in portage.
If there are still problems with the ebuild, we should get them fixed
in the darcs repo.
