there are currently MANY known problems with 0.9.6 version and stable systemd.
sometimes system is unbootable, sometimes FB console is unusable, sometimes it does not allow entering luks password

I think it'll be great if we could stabilize new plymouth version.

well yeah )
I just got bitten again on arm64 pinebookpro with stable plymouth and stable systemd. could not boot at all because luks prompt was nowhere to be seen and decided it's time to make this bug =)

0.9.6_pre20211225 boots fine even with 3 luks devices that require passwords.
