Ever since the last update for im-ja to version 1.3, it doesn't work anymore. The im-ja package gets build, but the correct so file not created, I can find some im-ja files in the gtk immodules directory, but there is no so file there -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 135104 Feb 22 15:29 /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/immodules/im-ja -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1177 Feb 22 15:29 /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/immodules/im-ja.la Also there is no more entry in the gtk.immodules configuration file for im-ja. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. compile/upgrade im-ja package 2. check gtk.immodules configuration file, check immodules so directory 3. Actual Results: you get no so file Expected Results: get an im-ja.so file, and the correct entry into the /etc/im-ja file im-ja is from the unstable tree Portage 2.0.51-r15 (default-linux/x86/2004.0, gcc-3.3.5, glibc-2.3.4.20040808-r1, 2.6.10-gentoo-r6 i686) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.10-gentoo-r6 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1.60GHz Gentoo Base System version 1.4.16 Python: dev-lang/python-2.2.3-r5,dev-lang/python-2.3.4-r1 [2.3.4 (#1, Feb 8 2005, 11:27:11)] distcc 2.16 i686-pc-linux-gnu (protocols 1 and 2) (default port 3632) [disabled] dev-lang/python: 2.2.3-r5, 2.3.4-r1 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r6 sys-devel/automake: 1.7.9-r1, 1.5, 1.9.4, 1.4_p6, 1.6.3, 1.8.5-r3 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.92.0.2-r1 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.10-r4 virtual/os-headers: 2.4.19-r1, 2.4.21-r1 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium4 -funroll-loops -pipe" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/env /usr/kde/3.3/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/mozilla/defaults/pref /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm/config/ /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/platex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium4 -funroll-loops -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs autoconfig ccache distlocks sandbox sfperms userpriv usersandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://mirror.gentoo.gr.jp/ http://gentoo.gg3.net/ ftp://gg3.net/pub/linux/gentoo/ ftp://ftp.ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/GENTOO http://ftp.gentoo.or.kr/ http://gentoo.oregonstate.edu/ http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.asia.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="X aalib acl acpi adns alsa apache2 apm arts avi berkdb bitmap-fonts bonobo canna cdr cjk crypt cups curl dga directfbemboss encode esd ethereal f77 fam fbcon flac font-server foomaticdb fortran freetds freewnn gd gdbm gif gimpprint gnome gphoto2 gpm gstreamer gtk gtk2 gtkhtml imagemagick imap imlib innodb ipv6 jack java jpeg junit kde kerberos lcms ldap libg++libgda libwww mad maildir mbox mcal memlimit mikmod mmx mng motif mozilla mpeg mysql ncurses nls odbc oggvorbis opengl osspam pdflib perl png postgres ppds python qt quicktime quota readline ruby samba sdl slang slp snmp speex spell sse ssl svga tcltk tcpd tetex tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts unicode usb wmf x86 xface xml xml2 xmms xosd xv zlib" Unset: ASFLAGS, CBUILD, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS, PORTDIR_OVERLAY
Thanks for the bug report. This should be fixed in 1.3-r1.
